Mountain Equipment Fang 42+ Backpack

A tough, versatile and strippable pack, the larger of the Fang series is ideally suited to year-round mountaineering and more remote climbing and ski trips. Developed over several years of research and testing, the Fang 42+ has been carefully designed for climbers and mountaineers who want a single pack for the majority of their trips into the mountains.

With a 42-litre optimum capacity and a traditional floating lid design, the Fang 42+ can be loaded with everything needed for a big winter day in Scotland or easily stripped back for more minimalist missions in the Alps. Made from high tear- and abrasion-resistant Robic® nylon, the Fang shows minimal wear after prolonged heavy use, and offers essential weather resistance in adverse conditions with the double drawcord top closure.
