Mountain Equipment Tupilak 37+ Alpine Climbing Pack

The Mountain Equipment Tupilak 37+ is a 37 litre alpine climbing and mountaineering pack for summer alpinism and winter climbing on the steepest lines. It uses custom-developed PACT 300 and 100 R2 high tenacity fabrics with aluminium hardware, and the Tupilak 37+ strips from 970 g down to 680 g when components are removed.

• Integrated cowl-lid closure with a custom aluminium Grappler buckle seals out weather and stays workable in poor conditions
• Internal weatherproof cowl with a roll-top closure adds protection and keeps wet and dry items separate
• Streamlined hourglass shape aids packing and carries more stably, with a high-density EVA back panel and low-profile EVA foam shoulder straps
• Side compression straps with aluminium Hammerhead toggles hold a sleeping mat or skis, and dual axe toggles include an integrated pick pocket
• Zipped floating internal pocket reachable from inside or outside the pack, plus haul loops, a daisy chain and a supplied shockcord system

The hipbelt is 38 mm webbing with removable hip fins, so this is a strippable alpine pack rather than a heavy-haul trekking one. Supplied in Magma. Hand wash periodically, remove debris, dry thoroughly after use and store somewhere cool and dry out of direct sunlight.
