The Storm 500 is designed for epic adventures in all conditions, boasting a durable waterproof and dustproof housing along with an impressive 500 lumens of bright light. Powered by a BD 2400 Li-ion battery, which is conveniently charged via micro USB, the Storm 500 R also features a sustainably crafted elastic headband made from Repreve recycled textiles. The compact and ergonomic body is complemented by an updated user interface, incorporating a secondary switch for effortless mode selection. Additionally, the improved optical efficiency not only ensures brighter illumination but also extends battery life, which can be easily monitored with a six-setting, three-LED battery meter. The Storm 500 R includes three coloured night-vision modes and peripheral white lighting, ideal for tasks such as carefully re-racking during a dark summit pitch. The headlamp's Brightness Memory feature allows the user to turn the light on and off at a preferred brightness without reverting to the default full power setting. With the Storm 500 R's PowerTap Technology, maximum brightness can be accessed instantly with a simple touch.
