Description
The PrimaLoft® Gold Insulation uses fine, water-repellent fibres with a high warmth-to-weight ratio and excellent breathability and improved comfort during activity spikes. The tightly woven Pertex® Quantum outer is light and supple, fending off the elements while reinforced Pertex® Shield panels at the seat, knee and inner leg add extra durability at high-friction zones.
Highly efficient when damp and easy to compress, the use of full-length side zips with insulated baffles means you can pull them on over boots and regulate your temperature as conditions demand.

A lightweight, soft, and windproof fabric designed to allow insulation to achieve maximum loft. Its highly packable and protective qualities make it perfectly suited for mountain adventures.
Pertex® Shield
A fabric that is waterproof, windproof, breathable, and both lightweight and packable. It is offered in 2, 2.5, or 3-layer constructions, tailored to suit the demands of various activities and the level of durability needed.
Rab's fluorocarbon-free fabrics are completely free of fluorocarbons (PFAS), whether in the face fabric, membrane, or backer. PFAS-free means all intentionally added PFAS have been phased out, compliant with current EU and US legislation.
