Mountain Equipment Oreus Men's Vest - Alpine Climbing and Ski Touring | Aetherm Precision Insulation | PLASMA 10D | Packable

The Oreus Vest is a windproof, packable synthetic insulated vest and the result of a five-year Mountain Equipment development project. It uses Aetherm Precision Insulation, a patent-pending fill of 100 per cent recycled polyester with a reflective layer that Mountain Equipment says is warmer than anything of equivalent weight, as well as more breathable and more packable. Its athlete team has used prototypes from the Karakoram to Patagonia and the Alps.

Mountain Equipment lists it for super alpine climbing in the high mountains, ski touring in the Alps, hill walking in Scotland and rock climbing on high crags, worn as an outer layer, a warm mid-layer or over the top of everything.
