Mountain Equipment Tacul Men's Waterproof Jacket

The Tacul Men's Jacket is a lightweight waterproof shell for trekking and backpacking in the mountains. It is a hybrid: 3-layer Drilite+ 50 denier over the shoulders where a pack wears, and 2.5-layer Drilite+ 50 denier through the rest for low weight. Both fabrics have a 20,000 mm hydrostatic head.

• Drilite+ 3-layer 50-denier fabric over the shoulders for added durability with a pack
• 15 mm taped seams to prevent water entry
• Mountain Hood, fully adjustable with front and rear volume reduction and a stiffened, laminated visor
• Core venting zips for extra airflow when required
• Two large zipped hand pockets in harness-compatible positions, with YKK water-resistant zips and glove-friendly pullers
• Full-length YKK AquaGuard front zip with internal storm flap, Velcro adjustable cuffs and internal dual tether hem drawcords

Alpine fit, sized for layering, with articulated and pre-shaped sleeves for steep ground. The hood copes easily with severe conditions but is not as large as the helmet-compatible version found elsewhere in Mountain Equipment's range.
