Rab's Exosphere 3.5 Self-Inflating Sleeping Mat combines comfort, durability and easy use, making it a dependable choice for regular camping trips and overnight adventures. Its X-Core™ foam filling provides supportive insulation for a restful night's sleep, while a honeycomb-style foam structure keeps weight to a minimum without compromising on warmth or comfort. The rectangular shape supports a range of sleeping positions, and a low-profile two-way valve allows for rapid inflation and easy deflation when it's time to pack away.
The mat's outer fabric is made from recycled polyester with a fluorocarbon-free DWR finish, giving it a hardwearing yet comfortable next-to-skin feel.

X-Core™
The X-Core™ self-inflating foam system takes the hassle out of setting up camp. Designed for both comfort and support, it features a honeycomb-inspired structure that balances low weight with high thermal efficiency, trapping and stabilising air within its core to insulate against cold ground temperatures.
R-value
The R-value of a sleeping mat reflects its ability to resist heat loss to the ground. A higher R-value indicates better insulation, providing greater protection from the cold and more comfort in lower temperatures.
Rab's fluorocarbon-free fabrics are completely free of fluorocarbons (PFAS), whether in the face fabric, membrane, or backer. PFAS-free means all intentionally added PFAS have been phased out, compliant with current EU and US legislation.
