Rab Solar Eco 3 Sleeping Bag (-8°C/20°F)

These robust synthetic bags are filled with 100% recycled Stratus™ insulation and are lined and covered with durable, 20D, recycled Atmos™ fabric with ripstop. Hardwearing, warm, and reliable, they dry quickly and can withstand condensation or damp conditions.

The Solar Eco 3 is insulated with a double layer of Stratus™ insulation arranged in a concertina structure to trap warm air. The elastic internal quilting brings the lining and insulation closer to the user, reducing pockets of cold air. The localised quilting minimises stitching to reduce the chance of cold spots. Ideal for three-season climbing trips, mountain bivis, and backpacking adventures.

The Solar Eco features an adjustable hood that can be snugly cinched around the face to block out the chill, and an adjustable neck baffle to retain heat. The ¾ length zip includes an additional baffle along its length, acting as an effective draught excluder with an anti-snag zip guard. The wide mummy fit provides space to find the most comfortable sleeping position, with room for extra layers should night-time temperatures drop.

Rab's fluorocarbon-free fabrics are completely free of fluorocarbons (PFAS), whether in the face fabric, membrane, or backer. PFAS-free means all intentionally added PFAS have been phased out, compliant with current EU and US legislation.
