Racing is in Ronhill's DNA. Ron loved it, but in the early days he grew frustrated with kit that didn't perform as he needed it to. So, at the start line, he tore his shorts down the side, and the concept of the original split racer short was born. As a doctor in textile chemistry, he took the ripped shorts home and refined the idea into the racer short many still wear today. Ron also developed the mesh racer vest to keep the body cool and well ventilated through every stride. Today, Ronhill's Tech range includes cutting-edge iterations of those first prototypes, using the latest lightweight fabrics, seam technology and styling.
