The Air Tech Evolution Ice Axe by Grivel is the new version of the famous Air Tech axe. This model has been upgraded to provide optimal strength without compromising on the weight.

    Air Tech Evo

The head, which is hot forged from a single piece of steel, has become an established alpine classic. The new shaft's gentle curve just below the head gives greater clearance and makes anchoring easier on any sort of terrain, whilst the lower straight part of the shaft will penetrate into snow with little effort.

This model is also available with a Slider, the new hand rest that slides to the top of the shaft when sunk in snow or to the bottom to support hand in traction.

This is the most advanced axe technology, all in under 500 grams!

It is available in four different lengths: 48cm, 53cm, 58cm and 66cm.

    REVIEW:

"Grivel Air Tech Evolution ice axe set is a great ‘semi’ technical set of winter tools that will serve you well through many years of use and abuse. They are light, well balanced and the hot forged head is a great bonus for hooking, bullet hard ice or that super crispy neve we all dream of climbing."
