The Orion is a highly breathable waterproof shell for climbing, mountaineering and ski touring on big objectives. Its nanoporous membrane carries 10 billion nanopores per square inch and holds a hydrostatic head of over 20,000 mm, and a 160 Denier face fabric takes the abrasion in the highest wear areas. It is the first time Mountain Equipment has used its Storm construction standards outside the GORE-TEX PRO range.
