On fast-and-light missions and smash-and-grab ascents where weight is critical, the Black Diamond Camalot Ultralight provides a 25% reduction in weight compared to the standard Camalot. The sculpted lobes contribute to a portion of this weight reduction, while the Camalot Ultralight replaces the traditional cable with a Dyneema cord, maintaining the same strength that climbers rely on. The double-axle design ensures the broadest possible placement range for each cam, and the colour coding allows for quick identification when speed is essential. When minimising weight is a priority, the Camalot Ultralight becomes a must-have piece of equipment.
