Mountain Equipment Particle Hooded Men's Jacket

An adaptable hybrid insulation piece designed to function either as a lightweight outer layer or a highly insulating mid-layer for cold-weather pursuits.

The Particle Hooded Jacket is insulated with 100% recycled POLARLOFT® Featherless fill, delivering the comforting warmth and loft of down, yet with the durability and dependability of synthetic insulation. Built for demanding mountain environments, it performs exceptionally well as a standalone outer layer in milder cold or layered beneath a shell when conditions intensify.

When worn externally, its windproof outer, crafted from 100% recycled 20D fabric with a PFAS-free durable water repellent, shields effectively against biting winds, light rainfall, and spindrift. The slim Alpine fit, complemented by elastane-bound cuffs and hem, maintains a sleek and streamlined profile. The elastane-bound Mountain Hood and strategically placed stretch fleece panels reduce unnecessary bulk, making it an excellent choice for long days spent mountaineering, ski touring, hiking, or climbing in chilly conditions. For added convenience, the jacket stows neatly into one of its hand pockets, complete with twin karabiner loops for easy clipping to a pack or harness.
