The Shigri Jacket offers resilient waterproof defence tailored for mountaineers and hikers, while maintaining a softer and more wearable feel throughout the day. It proves an excellent companion for those venturing into the mountains, no matter the forecast, especially when the shell needs to remain on for hours at a time.

Constructed with the GORE-TEX ePE membrane, an 80-denier face fabric, and a circular knitted backer, this jacket ensures consistent waterproof performance with added flexibility and ease of movement. Additionally, it features a PFAS-free DWR for more environmentally conscious weather protection.

The newly refined Mountain fit introduces slightly more room than the traditional Alpine cut seen across much of the waterproof range. It allows additional space for layering and is well suited to broader builds, all without compromising performance through excess fabric that might hinder movement during technical ascents or in foul weather.

The Mountain HC Hood, engineered to be fully adjustable, offers outstanding coverage with or without a climbing helmet. It plays a key role in maintaining safety and mobility when conditions are at their harshest.

Materials

• GORE-TEX fabric offers waterproof, windproof, and breathable performance and is guaranteed to keep the wearer dry.
• The durable face fabric throughout is engineered to resist abrasion and enhances wind resistance.
• The primary material is an 80D GORE-TEX ePE (134gsm), designed as a waterproof and breathable 3-layer fabric with a PFAS-free DWR. It boasts a hydrostatic head of 28,000mm and RET of less than 13.
• All seams are fully taped to block water ingress.

Patterning & Design

• The Mountain Fit, with articulated and pre-shaped sleeves, enables unrestricted movement and offers ample room for layering with winter insulation.
• The jacket provides a roomier fit around the waist and hem compared to the more contoured Alpine Fit seen in other shell jackets. This makes it better suited to those with a larger frame or anyone expecting to wear multiple layers beneath. When worn with only a T-shirt, it may feel slightly spacious.
• Two-way underarm YKK® WR pit zips enable adjustable ventilation during high-output activity.

Hood Configuration

• The Mountain Helmet Compatible Hood is sized to fit over a climbing helmet comfortably when required.
• It features full adjustability with rear volume adjustment and two front toggles.
• A laminated, wired visor helps maintain a clear field of view even in gusty winds or when using eyewear.
• The rear hood cord adjuster is internally routed for a cleaner look.
• A seamless face panel uses the same shell fabric for added weather shielding.
• Internal Cohaesive® cord locks and tunnels allow quick, secure adjustment.

Pocket Configuration

• Two external hand pockets are fitted with YKK® AquaGuard® zips, backed by storm flaps, drainage channels, and garages. They are positioned for easy access while wearing a harness or pack and offer enough space for gloves or other essentials.
• A single inner security pocket with a YKK® zip provides storage for smaller valuables.
• All pockets are constructed with full lamination for waterproof integrity.
