At the heart of its performance lies the 256g Cycloknit fabric. Featuring a tightly woven outer surface, it offers impressive wind and abrasion resistance while also repelling snow during swift movement across mixed terrain. Inside, a high-loft fleece lining provides outstanding insulation and comfort while effectively managing moisture.

Tailored with technical pursuits in mind, the Shroud boasts a streamlined, active fit that accommodates additional base layers without unnecessary bulk.

Technology

Cycloknit Cycloknit blurs the lines between soft shell and technical fleece, combining insulation, wind resistance and comfort for demanding use in cold weather. This patented fleece has been developed by one of our Taiwanese partners and combines a densely knitted outer face - akin to a ‘hard face’ - that provides wind, water and abrasion resistance, while a soft high-loft fleece inside provides incredible comfort and warmth. It pushes the limits of what a midlayer is capable of, and whilst it doesn’t quite provide the protection of a double-weave soft shell fabric, it does provide a valuable middle ground, keeping out plenty of wind, snow and light rain.
