A beneficial add-on for activities such as mountaineering, ice climbing, and multi-pitch climbing, it facilitates fast access and organization of nuts, pitons, and ice screws. It also enables easy storage and holstering of ice tools. The Caritool is compatible with the slots on a majority of Petzl harnesses and can also be attached to the webbing waistbelts of other harnesses.

- Designed to be lightweight, robust, and stable.
- The nose on the top rail enables the user to stack gear on top while still accessing screws, nuts, or other equipment when the CARITOOL is carrying multiple items.
- A small upper hole allows for the attachment of a keeper cord, ensuring tools remain secure and are not misplaced.
- Also facilitates quick and convenient storage or holstering of ice tools.
