Engineered for stability and reliability on ascents and descents, the Khroma 30 offers practical gear loops, an ice axe attachment, and organised storage. It is ideal for those venturing into challenging terrain in search of fresh tracks. The pack accommodates both skis and snowboards, with diagonal and A-frame ski carry options available. Designed to simplify the day on the skin track, it features back panel entry for seamless access to equipment, ensuring smooth transitions between skins, crampons, and skis. The detachable helmet holder secures the helmet externally, freeing up internal space, while zips with mitten-friendly pullers provide quick and easy access, even in harsh conditions.
All Khroma packs are equipped with a rapid-access avalanche safety pocket, featuring a two-way zip with a bright orange puller that consistently closes in the same position for reliability in emergencies. Separate sleeves provide organised storage for a shovel handle and probe, while the blade can be neatly stashed on top.
The Khroma 30 is crafted from durable Cordura nylon reinforced with Spectra® Ripstop and finished with a HydroShield water-resistant coating. This construction enhances resistance to abrasions, tears, and weather exposure. Its X-SHIELD™ carry system ensures the pack stays close to the back, offering stability and freedom of movement on technical descents. The wide, padded hip belt provides a snug fit, with a gear loop on one side and a spacious pocket on the other, ideal for snacks, navigation devices, or a compass. Streamlined, lightweight, and comfortable, the Khroma 30 is an excellent companion for ambitious backcountry skiing adventures.
