This ultra-tough, abrasion-resistant summit pack has been designed to keep weight and bulk to an absolute minimum, with a lightweight Mono Mesh harness and a removable waist belt for shedding more weight when needed. Every detail of the ultralight Latok 20 pack has been refined to give unrestricted mobility on vertical adventures. Constructed from ultra-tough, abrasion-resistant Cordura fabric with Spectra® Ripstop, it will endure scrapes with rock and ice in the most rugged terrain.
The secure, body-hugging chest harness is fully adjustable and constructed using Mono Mesh, which is 50% lighter and retains 70% less water than alternatives, keeping the wearer well ventilated and spreading the load across the back for a comfortable fit. A snow-shedding back panel keeps the pack light, and two ice axe loops with bungee retention make it ready for any challenge on the ascent. The top drawcord with weather flap seal protects kit from the elements. The webbing waist belt has a quick release buckle and can be removed to shed more weight. Multiple storage options include gear attachment points, a zipped rear pocket, an internal security pocket for valuables, and harness pockets for on-the-go access to a topo, phone, or snacks.
Finished with a fluorocarbon-free DWR and recycled lining, the pack has a streamlined design that cuts down on weight, making it ideal for alpinists who are counting the grams.
